Winter that is.
Arrived at 9PM last night. First time this year, I had to run the missed approach pattern (continue up the hill, turn around and take a left into the driveway) and even then – it was at minimums. The mitten mobile had to fight to get up the last hill to the cottage. There was a good size snow berm at the bottom of the driveway, plus the quality of the plowing of the driveway was a little sketchy.
Being vacation week – the village is PACKED, the snow banks are HIGH and – skies are grey this morning with more snow on the way. Facebook intel reports the villages top kick plow truck spun out and broke a frame.
Running solo. On a mission to shovel the roof and deck. Looks like around fifteen inches to clear all around. Here comes a Motrin Moment…
Back Break: So, I measured the snow pack – looks like 9″ then 1″ of mixed then another 4″ of powder. Solid 14″ and heavy.

Today Snow, mainly after 1pm. High near 33. South wind around 5 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Tonight Snow, mainly before midnight. Low around 17. North wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
