At Mittenstock this weekend solo to clean up snow and make sure the place is in shape.
Mount Washington was gusting to near 100mph last night. I could see the reflection in the sliders distorting as the glass flexed under the wind load. This morning when I shot these pictures it was around 10 degrees with some gusts around 25 = real cold / frost nip weather.

Winter can be such a cold and unforgiving and desolate thing – I think it serves to better clarify life itself. It lends contrast and perspective to ones outlook and to the life experience in general.
