Nice day today
We parked at Rocky Gorge, did 100 yards of the path then crossed the pond and headed north north west off trail and up some seriously steep wooded hillsides. What struck the both of us was how quiet and alone we were out there. We found ridges to walk, mountain brooks to cross – Great trip.

After that, we packed up, drove down the road a bit and got on Ski’s for a quick romp on the upper Nanamocomuck
