Via Mittenstock of course –
My brother visited from N.C. last weekend. We drove from Portland to Mittenstock on Saturday under grey skies – spent a viewless afternoon at Mittenstock catching up under the warm blanket of a crackling wood fire. The day dawned bright on Sunday and we enjoyed a leisurely drive from MWV to Rangeley via Rt. 16. After the traffic nightmare that can be MWV on the weekends, the dive was uneventful all they way to Rangeley.

It was cold in the Boathouse on Sunday night with absolutely nothing to keep the heat in and the cold out. Monday was equally bright and beautiful after the morning fog burnt off.
